The Placement Cell of VJEC started functioning in the academic year 2002-03. Our students achieved placement in various reputed companies through the campus selection. Activities are progressing in an excellent manner. Many IT and non IT companies visit our college to select candidates. Representatives from the Head Quarters of Army and Navy also visit our college to examine and select the brilliant and energetic candidates to meet their requirements.
The placement activities are organized by the Placement Officer, under the guidance of the Principal.
College has a well active Training and Placement Cell headed by the Mr. Prasad Thomas (lecturer ASH), the placement officer, assisted by representatives from various departments and by a team of student representatives from each final and pre-final year classes. Most of the students have got placement in topmost software companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Satyam computers, U.S technology etc. Several training programs by professionals are being conducted to improve the communication skills and personality development of students.
Our Placement Cell has conducted "Tunning Point" - a 9 day Skills development & Training Programme in which meeting of the entire students and their interaction, group discussion, mock HR/Technical tests & interviews, General & Technical aptitude tests on merit basis etc. were included. Orientation programmes for CAT/MAT examinations also were conducted for the final year students. it was offered by "Time Group".
